Facebook - The new lost & found update counter

Sometimes, we do not know should or should not believe the news about help to funding for a baby, child or even adult who suffered by a chronic disease. They just post the picture of that patient in Facebook or Twitter and hope we can donate some to money to help the patient get treatment. Today, cheater can use any way to get money from ignorant people. People may find hard to believe anyone in the society. However, social networking websites and video sharing websites had become the faster and easy tool to spread emergency information to everyone in the world.People depend more on it to find their losing relatives or pets.
When it comes to ethical use, the responsibility is the online communities themselves. Online fraud can be so destructive in mind as people is no longer believe and even doubt about the reality, but it's amuse me to see them keep it sharing around from time to time even for the same post by different person. In this case, the date of abduction incident was clearly state and so people is aware of its reality, knowing it's an urgent matter that decide his live or death in any seconds. anyway still thanks to the power of photo sharing and it saved one lives. it does helps this time.
I believe that there is always two sides to a matter. On one hand, it may be the fastest and easiest way to reach out to the public, but it would be the fastest highway for someone who intend to commit fraud or other crime just as chia chia mentioned. People nowadays just cannot afford to be naive and gullible anymore.
But then again, in my opinion, as long as the users being careful, what is the harm or sharing the photos to help?
Yes, there might be a fraud of donations or such, but .. what if it isnt? And people are so used to ignore them?
